American Christian preacher Paul Begley said the impending lunar eclipse this month marks the beginning of the Apocalypse. The phenomenon will take place on July 27.
The pastor in support of his terrible prophecy cites the information found in the Bible. According to him, the holy book informs that the "end of the world" will come immediately after the lunar eclipse. The "bloody" moon is mentioned immediately in the three Books – Revelation, Iolia and Acts. It says that the acquisition by the earthly satellite of a blood-red color is a sign of the approaching end to everything.
Speaking to an online audience, Begley said: “July 27 is not the end of the world, it’s only a sign of the end times, but the Apocalypse is inevitable anyway. It is impossible to deny it, because the bloody moon is, without a doubt, a terrible prophetic sign "
Undoubtedly, there are quite a few people who with great desire believe in the words of the preacher, but official science is based on completely different principles, which in no way give consent to such forecasts. For specialists, a lunar eclipse is only a natural occurrence that occurs annually, and no one will think of it in any way as a large-scale catastrophe seasoned with Bible prophecies.
Nevertheless, it is worth noting that on July 27 a special lunar eclipse will occur, which will be the longest in the XXI century. Astronomers considered that it would be possible to admire the colorful heavenly phenomenon for 103 minutes. The full extent of the eclipse will be seen by residents of East Africa, southern Asia and Antarctica. In South America, Europe and West Africa, people will see a bewitching performance at moonrise, and in East Asia and Australia at sunset. And only North America will not be able to admire a rare natural phenomenon.
