On Wednesday, scientists presented to the world the first ever black hole image. Until now, direct evidence of the existence of these still very sickly studied space objects was not. This black hole is located in the galaxy M87, which is 53.5 million light-years distant from us. The mass of the object exceeds the sun by 3.5-7.22 billion times.
