Rogozin told about the mood of the new crew of the ISS

The head of the Roscosmos state corporation, Dmitry Rogozin, conducted radio communications with the crew of the Soyuz MS-11 spacecraft, which had set off on the eve of the ISS. According to him, the members of the new expedition are in a positive mood.

Dmitry Olegovich says bluntly that he has a deep sense of pride in the crew of the International Space Station. He also said that before the start, he spent time in an informal setting with the main and duplicating compositions, supporting them and asking about the mood for an important mission.

“It is clear that they flew after the accident. You can imagine what the moral load was, the pressure on them, ”the head of the state corporation noted.

On the afternoon of November 3, 2018, the Soyuz-FG launch vehicle launched from the Baikonur cosmodrome, carrying a Soyuz MS-11 manned vehicle with a new ISS crew. Soon the docking was carried out with the station, and Russian Oleg Kononenko, NASA employee McClain and Canadian astronaut David Saint-Jacques took their jobs. The old crew, represented by Alexander Gerste, Sergey Prokopyev and Serina Aunion-Chancellor, will return to Earth on December 15.
