Studying data from the NASA Near-Earth Objects Research Center (CNEOS), scientists focused on a space object moving toward the Earth at a specified period at a speed of 60 km / s, passing the Sun. Most likely, the meteorite was no more than a meter in diameter, because, having reached the atmosphere, it was completely destroyed.
After analyzing, based on the speed, the orbit of the object, the scientists established that it did not have a gravitational connection with the Sun, that is, did not move along the formed orbit around it. This meteor flew so fast that even the giant attraction of the star could not lead him astray. As American experts have explained, this is only possible if a celestial body originated far beyond the boundary of the solar system.
