SpaceX failed to launch Falcon 9 rocket for fifth time in a row

One of the key features of the Falcon 9 rocket of the American company SpaceX was the ability to reuse the first stage. During its fifth launch, the reusable carrier was supposed to put into orbit another batch of Starlink Internet satellites, but a few seconds before takeoff the procedure had to be interrupted due to an emergency.

The launch of the launch vehicle was to take place at the Canaveral Cosmodrome. At the moment when the final countdown was launched, SpaceX engineers urgently cut off the fuel supply. The engines were stopped, after which company representatives commented on the situation. In the video published by the company, this moment can be viewed at the time mark 15:23.

“The start will not take place. It was canceled by the automatic system to stop starting due to abnormal data during the engine power check, ”said Michael Andrews, head of supply for SpaceX.

The company does not name the date of the next launch. SpaceX plans to launch a new batch of 60 Starlink satellites via the Falcon 9 rocket. It is expected that with a successful mission, the total number of satellites will be about 12 thousand. They will be integrated into a single network that can provide broadband Internet access from anywhere in the world.
